On Monday 17 June, Glovers took part in the London Legal Walk in aid of the London Legal Support Trust. A team of 14 (plus Milo, our four-legged friend) successfully completed the 10km walk alongside 15,000 other walkers.

The route took us along the Embankment before turning into The Mall and Constitution Hill, then through St James’ Park before taking a turn around the Serpentine and walking back towards the Law Society on Chancery Lane.

The London Legal Walk is organised every year by the London Legal Support Trust which is an independent charity that raises vital funds for free legal services in London and the South East. They support the provision of specialist legal advice through law centres, advice agencies and citizens advice bureaux by providing them with grant funding alongside other forms of support.

These agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, fighting exploitation and gaining care for the elderly and disabled.

Last year, the London Legal Walk raised more than £830,000 for charity and is on track to raise even more this year.
