Glovers has achieved coverage in five key practice areas in the recently published Legal 500 and continues to be ranked alongside some of the largest city firms. The Legal 500 assesses firms not only on size and resources, but also on the extent to which a client would recommend that firm in a particular field. The recognition Glovers has received in the 2014 Edition is an independent confirmation of the strength of the firm.

Glovers has been recognised in the following practice areas:

• Commercial Property;
• Construction;
• Professional Negligence;
• Property Finance; and
• Property Litigation.

Commercial Property: Glovers is ranked as a third tier firm in the Legal 500, which states "Glovers Solicitors LLP was instructed on approximately 180 new restaurant lettings or disposals in 2013; it acts for the majority of the restaurant companies most active in the sector, including Nando’s, PizzaExpress, Zizzi and Wahaca.”

Construction: Glovers is ranked as a fifth tier firm for its Construction work.  The Legal 500 notes that Philip Eyre heads up the team and that the firm is instructed on a range of matters by Sir Robert McAlpine.

Professional Negligence: The firm achieved a ranking for its professional negligence work.

Property Finance: Glovers is also ranked as a fifth tier firm for Property Finance.  The Legal 500 states that “Glovers Solicitors LLP acted for Investec Bank in connection with a loan facility to assist with the financing of a large mixed-use scheme, and also advises ABN Amro, Close Brothers and United Trust Bank. Andrew Parker and Richard Gilchrist are recommended.”

Property Litigation: Glovers ranked as a fifth tier firm with Edward Vaughan and Kenny Friday recommended.
