Employment - annual increases to Compensation Limits

The annual increases to Compensation Limits will take effect as always, on 1st February (2008). They apply to dismissals occurring on or after that date. 

The important increases are:-

Maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal to rise from £60,600 to £63,000.

Maximum on a 'week's pay' for the basic award or statutory redundancy to increase from £310 to £330.
