Transition period for Sole Corporate Directors to end on 1 October 2010
Since 1 October 2007 every company must have at least one director that is a natural person. The Companies Act 2006 (Commencement No. 5, Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2007 permitted a company which had a company as its sole director on 8 November 2006 a transition period to appoint a natural person as a director. This transition period comes to an end on 1 October 2010.
