Banking & Finance Litigation
Banking and Finance Litigation is an integral part of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. The team’s strong reputation derives from our extensive experience representing national and international institutions from across the financial spectrum. Our success in this field is attributed to a detailed understanding of our clients’ businesses, as well as the ability to meet clients’ needs at a time when banks and other financial institutions are increasingly coming under the microscope and facing increased regulation and greater potential for disputes.
Our team's success has been recognised by both the Legal 500 and Chambers, with the latter noting that Glovers offers “efficient, effective and wide-ranging services” in this area, whilst also acknowledging the quality of advice we provide. The head of the Banking and Finance Litigation unit, Edward Vaughan, is credited with having a "cerebral and measured approach to litigation" admired by clients.
When appropriate, we are able to draw upon the knowledge and experience of the other specialist units in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution department as well as our non-contentious Finance department, to ensure that we provide all clients involved in the Financial Institutions sector with prompt and effective legal assistance covering a broad range of contentious matters.
