Panels
Philip Eyre is an adjudicator on the RICS and CEDR panels. He is also named as one of two adjudicators constituting the panel in subcontracts where the main contractor is part of the RG Carter Group of Companies.
The RICS panel is made up of around 120 accredited adjudicators. Panel members are regularly reassessed for competency. The reassessment can identify the need for removal from the panel or further training. The current cost of seeking an adjudicator nomination is £380. Each adjudicator on the panel enters into a service-level agreement with the RICS whereby the adjudicator undertakes to maintain standards and to make reports of certain matters to the RICS.
The CEDR adjudicator panel was re-organised and streamlined in 2008 and comprises 32 of the leading adjudicators in the UK. The panel is entirely independent of the CEDR mediation panel. CEDR does not currently have any reassessment process.
