Adjudicator’s Fees

Glovers has acted for three high-profile construction adjudicators in recovery proceedings for unpaid adjudicator’s fees. In each case, we have assisted these adjudicators to make close to a full recovery with minimal irrecoverable costs without needing to get to trial. To guard against the risk of ultimate non-recovery arising from insolvency, we will endeavour to act quickly and use an expedited Court procedure such as summary judgment to secure prompt payment.

We will look for ways to keep our fees proportionate to the amount being disputed and we will always look to minimise irrecoverable costs.

Our recent involvement acting for a well-known adjudicator for recovery of his fees is recorded in the judgment of His Honour Judge Waksman QC in Fenice v Jerram Falkus. Click here for link to full judgment.
